Love this candy I have looked forever for some good clove candy. Haven't been able to find any since a trip to Ireland when I was first introduced to it. I order this brand all the time now. It is just what I wanted and have been looking for. Not too strong of a clove flavor, just nice and subtle.
Mmmmmm, clovey These are scrumptious little flavor bombs of clove. They are cute too, like sugar crystal little gemstones. They are not all that super sweet, but that's what makes the flavor of the clove really shine. I love that these sugar sanded unwrapped candies come in a mess preventive resealable bag too. Good stuff.
Just like the spiced gumdrops; delicious but very strong in my opinion Every winter I stock up on spiced gumdrops, and the clove ones are my absolute favorite. These candies are a great tradeoff! Very smooth texture and flavor, though contrary to other reviews on here, I found the flavor to be VERY strong - so much so that I definitely coughed a few times when enjoying my first piece. I suppose that's what happens when you're used to the toned-down gumdrop flavors. Do not regret the purchase whatsoever, but may break the pieces up a bit to reduce the feeling of inh
True clove flavor candy. True clove, slow to melt in mouth. Helps with upset stomach. They are a mouthful so I break them apart w/hammer to get a more manageable size.
Good but mild flavor I was very happy to find this item. I love clove candy, and we only eat naturally-flavored candy without any unknowable "natural flavor" ingredients. These candies are just the right size - about the size of a large cherry but lemon-shaped, not round. One piece fits very nicely in the mouth. And once past the "sanded", which is a nice touch, the candy is silky smooth. It's difficult to describe the difference between this and most hard candies, but there is a difference. Best clove candy available! This is simply the best clove flavored candy available anywhere! These are hard candies and the cost per oz. is reasonable given the high quality.These are now my guilty pleasure and I'll be ordering more ASAP......
