Editorial Policy

DealProGo exists to help shoppers decide whether a discount is actually worth their time. This page explains how we select, organize, and maintain deals.

Last updated: June 2026

What We Publish

We publish shopping pages, deal lists, product deal pages, category guides, store pages, brand pages, and practical FAQs. Retailer product information is only the starting point. DealProGo adds structure, filtering, ranking, comparison paths, and context so users can move from discovery to decision faster.

Our editorial focus is value: clear pricing, meaningful discounts, useful categories, recognizable stores, product images that help identification, and links that take users directly to the relevant retailer page.

Who Is Responsible

DealProGo content is maintained by the DealProGo Editorial Desk. The team owns the screening rules, category logic, corrections process, and disclosure updates.

We do not publish medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical advice. We focus on shopping context, price clarity, and retailer navigation.

How Deals Are Evaluated

Before deals are promoted in major sections, we look for signals such as:

  • Active retailer links and a visible product destination
  • Readable sale price and, when available, regular price
  • Discount depth compared with the listed regular price
  • Product image availability and basic product clarity
  • Duplicate or near-duplicate offers from the same product URL
  • Category relevance, brand relevance, and shopper usefulness
  • Recent updates, click interest, and seasonal demand where available

A high percentage-off label alone is not enough. We try to avoid weak, stale, confusing, or misleading offers even when they look attractive at first glance.

Rankings and Badges

Deal rankings combine automated scoring and editorial rules. Signals can include discount percentage, absolute savings, price quality, retailer source, product category, freshness, and observed shopper engagement. Badges such as top pick, verified, hidden gem, or trending are intended to summarize why an item is being surfaced.

No badge is a guarantee of future price, availability, product quality, shipping speed, warranty status, or retailer service. Users should always confirm final details on the retailer site.

Affiliate Relationships

DealProGo may earn a commission when users click some retailer links and make a qualifying purchase. This does not change the price users pay. Affiliate availability is not the only factor used in ranking deals.

We disclose affiliate relationships in our footer and on our Affiliate Disclosure page.

Corrections and Feedback

Prices, coupons, stock status, and shipping terms can change quickly. If a deal is expired, inaccurate, duplicated, or unclear, email us at [email protected] with the deal URL and what needs attention.

We review reports and update or remove listings when we can verify the issue.
