Rancid, chewy and waste of money I bought two bags of these horrible “nuts”. On opening the bag, the rancid stench of old oil assaulted my nose. Excellent quality - fresh whole nuts I ordered these raw macadamia nuts to make nut milk to use as a substitute for coconut milk which I can't eat. They are perfect for that and the taste is so close to coconut milk that I doubt anyone could tell the difference. (You can also make macadamia nut milk to drink, but that is awfully expensive when you can make almond milk much cheaper if you want a glass of milk or milk for cereal.......)A few reviewers complained that the nuts they received were halves and pieces. Terrible quality These macadamia nuts are of poor quality. The size is small and texture hard. The worst part is that they are not fresh. As soon as I opened the bag I smelled a strong rancid smell so I will have to dispose of this. Nothing more unhealthy that eating rancid oils in nuts.
