Great diamond bit for the money Drilled through my quartz counter without a problem. The hole was clean and straight. Great value for the money.
Worked great on Quartz counter top but keep it cool. I used this to put a disposal air switch and soap dispenser into a quartz counter top. It was the correct size and worked fine with a cordless drill. It's useful that the pilot is removable. This was a synthetic quartz so the binder is some kind of high temperature polymer. Go slow and keep it cool or the diamond will clog. If it clogs just pick off the hardened bits.
Got the job done but quality of bit is lacking! Perfect diameter for 1" electrical conduit fittings. The Diamond grit was ok for drilling through 1/4 PVC, but the heat did melt that material a little bit. The actual guide drill points where below grade and it did not want to cut in place making trying to keep the hole saw centered a bit of a challenge and hence the negative star. The ONLY reason I went with this is there is almost no hole saws at 34mm diameter, which amazes me since how common 1" conduit fittings are, but the accurate size ho

Cut my onyx cleanly Needed to cut into onyx light boxes @2 3/4” in the fabrication of a hanging light fixtures. This bit did the job effortlessly and cleanly. I used its auxiliary masonary pilot arbor that comes with it. Will be using it on porcelain tile soon.
