This is well draining potting soil I have used this soil for a few plants with varying results. The soil itself looks clean and has a lot of chunky bits to it. Water soaks in and seems to stay damp but not wet. It smells like fresh dirt, which is nice.I have used this with a plant that I rooted in water, and while it seemed ok, it ended up dying. I suspect because there were too many air pockets around the roots.I took some cuttings of my inch plant and stuck them in the soil, and after a week, the cuttings really started growing
Light, airy mix that works great for indoor tropical plants I’ve been really happy with this potting mix for my indoor plants. The texture is much chunkier and lighter than regular dense potting soil, which helps improve drainage and airflow around the roots. My tropical plants seem to do especially well in it.I also liked that it didn’t feel overly compacted straight out of the bag, and it was easy to work with while repotting. The mix has a nice balance of moisture retention without staying soggy. What I liked:Light, airy textureDrains well without dryi
Helped reduce my gnat infestation I used this java potting soil on my houseplants that needed a different soil. I unfortunately recently brought in an infested houseplant that has gnats. Sometimes, the only thing you can do is replant the infected plants in new soil, so that what I did. I was able to completely replant four of my plants using this soil. The soil is has a distinct coffee odor, and feels fluffy and squishy between my fingers. I noticed that my plants seemed to perk up a few days after transplanting. And not only t
Plants Living Large Great potting soil. My plants love it.
Great product! So happy that this soil is finally available on Amazon! I’ve been using it for over a year and am so impressed with my thriving plants.
Good drainage, easy to amend for specialty plants This is a versatile potting soil that works well for a wide variety of houseplants. The mix has a good balance of moisture retention and drainage, making it a solid starting point for most plant types. For plants that prefer extra airflow around their roots, such as aroids or epiphytes, I found that adding additional perlite and orchid bark helped create a chunkier, more well-draining mix. While it may need some customization depending on your plants' specific needs, the quality is good overall
Great Potting Soil Results! I recently purchased the Geo Java potting soil in an effort to speed up the process of getting nice sized, sturdy cucumber starts. I was impressed! In six days all my baby cukes have pushed through and growing fast! No heat lamps or other growth aids...just the window sill. Record time. A little credit due to the Ed Hume seeds I purchased, but I will certainly use the "grounds" again. Photo taken on day 6.I'm a real customer, and this is a no BS, no compensation, no AI review.
My Experience with Geo Java Potting Soil: The "Coffee Ground" Magic I’m always on the lookout for sustainable, high-performance soil for my plants, and I decided to try Geo Java after hearing it was developed using composted cold brew coffee grounds. It has a distinct earthy, coffee-like scent when you first open it. It also has estonian peat moss, pine bark, & vermiculite- So it's nice and light for growing roots- which means explosive growth for my plants! It definitely lives up to the hype, especially if you have plants that need a nutrient boost.GeoJava has
