Perhaps due to a days long ice storm that crippled our area, box was pretty banged up upon arrival; box was mistreated. That was concerning—feared brokenness &/or missing parts. In fact, did arrive broken and without an operating manual. Called Dyson. Was told they could not simply send us a new part to replace the broken part. Was offered a return for a refund. I declined. I rigged with a rubber band because this model has incredible suction—did not want to give that up.
Item as described. Fast & free shipping. Package arrived split open on one long edge - that said, outer carton could be more stout, and taped shut better. If you have indoor cats or dogs, this vacuum is a must!
