My Lil baby for real! I love my echo dot! Perfect size..As you can see it hides among my plants..its loud, durable, and for the most part pretty easy to use. Connected well. Another great smart home purchase, to say the least. My previous Echo Dot, purchased back in 2018, was a third-generation. It was a white shuffleboard stone covered in cloth and it is amazing. Great device, but wake words need improvement The Echo Dot works well overall — sound is good, setup is easy, and the device responds quickly. My only real complaint is the wake word options. Every wake word is two or more syllables, which makes commands slower than they need to be. I prefer fast, efficient interactions, and a one‑syllable wake word like “Dot” would make a big difference. It would reduce friction and make the device feel more natural to use. I hope Amazon adds shorter wake word options in a future update. good value
