Great tile to work with I used this tile as an accent to another peel n stick in a backsplash to accentuate other copper pieces in my kitchen. I added more of this tile directly above the stove to make it more wipeable for any potential grease buildup or splatters.Surface prep is important, so be sure to start with VERY clean, SMOOTH walls! I used TSP Cleaner with a few drops of Dawn dish soap first to remove any grease and paint sheen, then hand-sanded to remove any bumps and imperfections. I used TSP Cleaner again to
Unsatisfactory Adherence While the look beautiful, following installation I’ve seen a noticeable failure to satisfactorily adhere, despite being applied to a freshly-fitted panel of furniture-grade particle board above a range hood. They were untouched on the adhesive side & firmly adhered using a roller used for applying soundproofing panels in automobiles to ensure complete adhesion coverage.Only time will reveal the longevity, but the appearance is far from the smooth surface initially presented & after less than 30 d
Very nice looking So far holding with no issues and they are beautiful, very realistic looking.
Shiny These tiles are ok but, take your time to install them. They are very very sticky. Once you place them you can't remove them without damaging the wall. Also a make a template around outlets and carefully cut the tile to fit. Otherwise they look nice for a backsplash.
EXCELLENT Product Worked very well for me. They look great, easy to do and thankfully stick well.
Prepare Your Surface and You’ll Love the Results! Very easy to use, but surface prep is absolutely imperative. Our walls are textured, to make them look hand-plastered, so this creates adhesive challenges. The first application didn’t work very well because of the gaps created by my walls, so I decided to coat the area with a good layer of joint compound first. The second application was remarkably better. I also used clear silicone caulk to bring up the edge work. I used the ‘BladeRunner’ table saw (also from Amazon) with a metal-cutting blade
Looks good. Works well. Good value. We used this to protect the wall behind our air fryer. Easily installed and was a good color for our kitchen. Minor wrinkles smoothed out during installation. Adhered well. Squarely cut. Good value.
