Best Era of the X-Men For me,the best run for the X-Men was from 1991 to 1996.The first X-men books I ever read was The Song of The X-Cutioner .This was a great starting point.However,the best storylines and artwork came during this time.From the return of Magneto,to The Legacy Virus,to Magneto ripping out Wolverines andamantium skeleton,to The Age of Apocalypse, to the culmination of The Onslaught Storyline.After this timeframe ,the quality of the storylines greatly diminished mostly due to Marvel's bankruptcy situa
