Wow. Super easy and effective upgrade for all skill levels. Highly recommended upgrade for those looking to increase their wireless speeds with several connected devices. I thought it wouldn't be much of an improvement over my DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem/router + Wifi extender, which appeared to be significantly throttling my bandwidth, but mesh Wifi is in fact different and more effective at extending range and providing speed consistency throughout the home. Why I purchased:I decided to try a mesh network as we were having some issues with streaming video qu
So easy to install! The EASIEST internet setup experience I've ever had. I had Verizon 5G for years but recently moved and had to switch to a new provider. The new house is 3000 sq ft and we needed a mesh system to get the best coverage. It was literally download the app, plug in one of the three Deco X55's, reset the internet connection. It ran through everything, set up the name and password, and then voila. Connected. No issues. No problems of any sort. Just plug in, run through the motions, boom. The signal ext
UPDATED: Now 5 star! Super fast Wifi-6, easy install, good choice to upgrade to a mesh system! Thanks to Prime Day it was time for me to finally upgrade my home network. I was looking for a reasonably priced WiFi-6 mesh system with 3 stations (1 main + 2 satellites), at least AX3000 speeds, and a price tag of up to $300. It came down to two choices: the Eero 6+ and what I chose instead, the TP-Link Deco X55. Both systems had similar specs, but I liked how the TP-Link Deco had 3x Gigabit ethernet ports per satellite (the Eeeros have just 2). That meant I could wire each satellite in a dais
Great Product...great value. Super easy to install. It just works. I previously tried to install a Netlink and the Ap was unhelpful. So much so I gave p and returned the netlink in favor of the TP-Link Deco. After connecting the the ethernet cable, the wireless router just connected without issue. The only improvement I would make is to have better explanation for a wired backhaul for the satellites, but a quick web search made this easy.
Solid connectivity since finding what my issue was.... I moved to a new place and wanted a new updated mesh (was using googlewifi) so i purchased this last year. setup was easy and many bells and whistles were easy to setup but once every couple of days the pods would lose connection to the main router for a moment then come back on. recently it was up to 2 or 3 times a day. the issue is that all the end points (firesticks, computers, smart tvs) would hang or disconnect. I play many online games and i would get disconnected; i would grumble and the
Great coverage and easy network management Title: Great Coverage and Easy Network ManagementI replaced my old ASUS router setup with the TP-Link Deco X55 mesh system, and the difference has been noticeable right away. The setup process was quick and straightforward through the Deco app, and I really like how easy it is to manage and monitor my network from my phone.Coverage throughout the house has been excellent, with strong and reliable Wi-Fi in areas that used to have weaker signals. The app gives me plenty of control over my network
Impressive improvement in speed and coverage We have a long house (4,000 sq. feet) and because my modem was at one end we have used range extenders to reach TVs and computers at the other end. My son works in sales from home and required a faster and more stable connection than he had in his office at the far end from my modem. We decided to install a mesh WIFI system and chose TP-link's Deco S4 (3-pack). Once up and running (easy) we weren't able to achieve a faster speed than the range extenders. Although, things were slightly better in
Unbeatable Signal Coverage and Affordability In a world where a strong and reliable Wi-Fi connection is paramount, the TP-Link Deco AX3000 stands tall as a beacon of connectivity, effortlessly blanketing my 140-square-meter apartment with its powerful signal.
