Great product and service. Will purchase again as needed and well worth it to me as a partial and full seed starter mixture. If you know anything about vermiculite and perlite you know they can be full of electrostatic so when you do open this bag as it is vacuum sealed it would be wise to use scissors or a knife and make two little holes in either top corner I'm right hand so upper right to me. Give it a min the breathe then slowly work it around with your hands. Do not open it fully without doing this or it can go/ fly
Ideal when fine grained vermiculite is needed; good packaging This is very fine grained vermiculite which is ideal for my needs. I use it for seed starting mixes as well as a "mulch" once the seedlings emerge. The latter works well to prevent damping off on tender starts. Both tasks can be accomplished with coarser vermiculite, but this fine grained option is ideal.It comes in a vacuum sealed pouch. The vacuum makes the pouch rigid, which helps ensure it remains in good shape in transit (as well as saving space in the box). It arrived in perfect shape. On
Less than expected This product provides a boost to seed germination but there is not much of the product in the bag. For the price I was expecting more vermiculate. I did like the fine texture.

High quality and consistent fine texture Bought this for growing succulent seeds and I’m really happy with it so far. The grain size is fine and consistent which worked perfectly for tiny succulent seeds. I used it as a light top layer to help hold moisture. It retains moisture well and there weren’t any huge chunks or debris in the bag. I included close up pictures to see the texture and grit better. Overall it feels high quality and worked great for my seed starting setup.
