Magic in a bottle for young trees Had 2 young trees planted in front of our house, they were expensive (800 each) and didn't get any significant growth the first year and a half. Wow! Great stuff. No more purple leaves. I started some tomato plants extra early to test out my soil mix and my new lighting system. Over the years, my tomato plants have almost always had a problem with purple leaves. I tried fish emulsion in the past, but I only watered the soil with it.
