Boo! Stop overcomplicating LEGO games, Lego game makers! It seems like just a few years ago my son and I were enjoying the hell out of the original STAR WARS Lego game... and the first BATMAN Lego game... Why do the game-makers insist on making these more and more complex and aggravating with each new offering? For the last 3-5 years or so, every new Lego game has added infuriating new elements that detract from the basic gameplay we know and love: from the idiotic and pointless build tables in THE HOBBIT (MINECRAFT knockoffs? PLEASE STOP!) to the biz
Not as good as Lego Marvel My son was so excited to get this game. They both loved the Lego Marvel game so they couldn't wait for this one. It's a fun game, but I have to say, the Lego Marvel game is slightly better in my opinion. This game is still fun, but just not as good as the first. While playing, we found ourselves getting kind of bored with the story mode and couldn't wait until it was time to have free play. The game play seemed more dark, if that makes sense. Like the graphics were darker and not as clear. And w
... is one of our kids (4 and 7 yo) favorite game from lego This is one of our kids (4 and 7 yo) favorite game from lego. They really love finding new heroes and using them in the open world sections. This is also much better than the previous marvel lego game as it has lots of open world areas. However it seems to shorter in missions and the character selection is not as great. No x-men or fantastic four and etc.
Skip this one Just a bad game. I've tried to like it so many times but it's just awful. 2 player is no better. Wave after wave of enemies and difficult to figure out. Glitchy as well, don't fall or jump wrong because you'll be stuck and constantly dying in fire when you respawn. 38 years of playing video games, this is one of the worst.
Awesome game for kids minus 1 flaw My kids are obsessed with this game. I love that it includes problem solving as well as them having fun and earning characters. Only thing I wasn't keen on was the portrayl of pepper potts in the Ironman suit. You do realize she was a bada** when wearing that, right? They have her running around with her hands out to the side....really sexist. Other than that flaw we love it!
Best price around for an awesome game! I have been looking around for a decent price for this game to get for my son's 6th birthday. We have the Lego Super Hero game and played the demo of this and I know it will be a favorite. The best deal I found locally was $55 for used. I found the game on Amazon for $50 brand new and added it to my cart. That price was better than every other local or online option. I logged back into my cart to purchase a few days later and the retail price had now dropped to $40! Shipping was quick and I'm gl
There Went My Weekend (In A Good Way) I am an adult that has all of the Lego games and was really looking forward to this one. I am not disappointed! The graphics are fantastic and the gameplay is really good & just challenging enough. I am actually enjoying the dialogue clips from the movies but will say that it is a bit jarring when another voice is used (Pepper Potts being the most obvious). It's great that you get to play actual scenes from the movies (Hulkbuster versus Hulk was too fun!) Team-ups are great too! You can tell tha
