beware When I first got this, I loved it. I made several batches of sorbet and ice cream. I left the maker in the freezer as instructions said I could. Today I took it out and made blackberry sorbet, went outside and when I came back in there was a puddle of liquid on the counter and a long crack on the outside. It is now in the garbage. Pays to get the better quality kitchenaide brand.
Very good product Excelent icecream maker i love this product, highly recomend
Game changer for making fresh ice cream I love making my own ice cream and this has been a game changer. This past season we had amazing peaches and I made pints and pints of ice cream. It's generally simple to operate once you understand how the mechanisms interface. It would be better if they did a video of how it attaches to the mixer instead of just showing once it's already been installed . The only two things that are frustrating for me are the manner in which it attaches to the mixer is a bit frustrating as it often comes undon
Makes fast, easy and delicious soft serve icecream I have this bowl in the name brand and it was expensive and I have a large family so it never makes enough. I decided on this one that is half the cost and honestly I think it stayed frozen longer. It fit my mixer perfectly and the ice cream was ready in less then 20 min. I put the bowl in my deep freezer the night before so it would be ready. I always just leave the bowls in my freezer so they are ready at anytime. My recipe is 4 cups half & half. 1/2 cup sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla. Whisk we
Product doesn't stand the test of time. When I first received this product, I loved it. I could make the flavor of ice cream I wanted. It was easy to use. Then after the 3rd time I made ice cream, the liquid that is in the bowl leaked out. I have had the bowl for 2 months, and it is already worthless. (the instructions say you can put it in the dishwasher, but I was afraid it would ruin it, so I only washed it by hand).
Don’t stop when she start Like most things these days, the Dasher and the attachment to the mixer is made of plastic as the bowl freezes the mixture quickly. You cannot stop it and restart it so there’s no wiping down the side of the bowl once the mixture poured in the mixture is moving you cannot stop it. It makes great ice cream.
Makes Yummy Homemade Ice Cream! Homemade Cookies and Cream Ice Cream with KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker AttachmentIf you’re hunting for the best KitchenAid ice cream maker attachment, this is it. I used the KitchenAid Ice Cream Bowl Attachment with my mixer, and it completely blew me away. The first thing I made? A ridiculously creamy, dreamy cookies and cream ice cream packed with Oreo pieces. The texture was smooth, the flavor was rich—honestly, it tasted better than store-bought.Here’s the simple recipe I followed:Ingredients•
So far, so good I've used it once and the results were good. It was a little confusing to get started because, for the part you slide onto the shaft of your Kitchen Aid stand mixer, the instruction booklet says "so that side A is closest to the beater shaft". There is not any "A" marking on the drive assembly part - I looked everywhere. Finally I tumbled to the fact that there is a slightly raised triangle pointing outward, and that this must be pointing toward the shaft. It worked. There were quite a few negat
