Love this product We've bought this in the past to make wheat grass smoothies. I didn't realize they were such a miracle potion until my brother started taking them for several weeks. He's got a noticeable improvements in energy and other things in his life which he claims is from adding wheatgrass drinks to his diet. Thank you for this great bag of wonder drug. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to grow wheatgrass and not pay an arm and a leg to drink a small shot every day.
Grows Great After Being In Storage For Five Years! I bought ten pounds of this seed in 2012 and grew wheatgrass to juice. After a few weeks I stopped juicing. Fast forward to 2017when I recently found the remaining seeds in storage and decided to again grow wheatgrass and start juicing. After being in storage for five years, the wheat berries are still very much viable and grows great!
Lousy Quality Control This was my second order of seed from this supplier! The first one was fine but the quality of this order was very poor. Low germination rate and a great many empty husks. Very disappointing and I will probably look for another supplier for my next order. Also, the item description said that it came in 10 handy individual packs. Instead the entire thing came in one single plastic bag, labeled "Todd's Seeds". They don't even give an honest description! I would have returned it but it's really n
I love my wheat grass I love them! I sprouted my seeds and grew them. So easy. I recycled my old plastic chinese take out tupper-ware and dirt in a bag from the dollar store and grew my little 'babies.' I juice it with a hand crank juicer made for wheat grass. It is actually a sweet & bitter taste at the same time. Not the kind of bitter that would make you turn your face (like the ones at the health food store, where the wheat grass has been in the fridge for how long and no real sun light) but i digress. I'm also h
Quick sprouts for wheatgrass juice We got sick and tired of paying 2 bucks for a tiny shot of wheatgrass at the juice bars, so decided to give "growing at home" a try.I bought this,an Omega J8006 juicer ( here on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Omega-J8006-Nutrition-Commercial-Masticating/dp/B001L7OIVI/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1328216581&sr=1-1-catcorr ),a growing rack (here on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Gardman-R687-4-Tier-Mini-Greenhouse/dp/B000NCTGQE/ref=sr_1_7?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1328216609&sr=1-7 ),some trays
Excellent Seeds I had great results with these. The seeds sprouted quickly with simple sowing, grew well, and reached harvest time in no time at all. Your juicer will love this grass.BTW, I cut the grass up a bit before juicing so as not to entirely clog my juicer. Worked like a charm.
Awesome I read reviews before buying this. The product is of high quality and there are instructions that you can look up online that tell you exactly how to use it. I believe some of the bad reviews are due to not following instructions perhaps. You have to soak the seeds in water 3 times for 8 hours so that they sprout before planting them. One review said that there were a lot of bugs in them, I only found maybe 6 dead ones that weren't a big deal because you are told to drain them and that gets the
Indoors or out. I just started growing my own wheatgrass last fall (2013). The videos I viewed on YouTube and other websites gave detailed instructions for growing the wheat in flats either indoors or out. On our farm here in SC, we always plant wheat as a winter crop, so I tried planting a row of this hard red wheat in my organic vegetable garden. The wheat doesn't actually have to be planted, just scattered on the surface after working in a good amount of compost, then watering well. It grew much more quickly
