I love this Stuff! Living in the Pacific Northwest it's near impossible to get fresh Smoked Mackerel. So, I searched for the next best thing -- tinned Smoked Mackerel -- After a trip back to the UK @ Christmas I was missing my Smoked Mackerel Pate. Well! I'm a happy bunny now -- I've got my fix! Here's my really quick recipe: In a medium sized pudding bowl melt ~2 Tablespoons of BUTTER (little less if you are trying to cut the calories). Best canned smoked mackerel ever It is super hard to find mackerel where I live and so having the Bar Harbor Smoked Mackerl tins delivered is an excellent treat. They are very tasty and solid. Packed well and good amount. Have purchased before and will do again.
Taste of home These are hearty portions and smoked to perfection. I true taste of home and healthy for me too! You have to like strong fish, but these are delicious!!

Not too fishy and rather tasty. I ate them on a toasted English muffin with chive an

Delicious Mackerel There very good!!!!!!
such good quality This stuff is so good. I make a mackerel dip with capers, dill, pickles or olives, lemon juice, and mayo or olive oil. It’s a huge hit
