Maybe the best in the series since Odyssey I was weary to play another game in this series after getting to the end of Valhalla and experiencing a game breaking bug that didn't allow me to finish the ending. Then I played Mirage and it felt like a step back for the franchise. This game IMO is the best in the series for a long time, maybe since Odyssey. If you have a ps5 pro the ray traced global illumination really makes a difference.
Good game It's a game played it 2 times so far in mist of playing it the third
On a ghost and a tank. We wanted Assassins Creed Japan since day one and now we finally got it.Pro:s Excellent graphics and stealth mechanics. Entertaining combat using a variety of different weapons for completely different fighting styles. Naoe and Yaskae are both fun and likeable with a genuine friendship for each other.Cons: average story. Not super engaging. No overall big bad. The "final battle" left me completely unsatisfied.
Fantastic Game! Don't Pay Attention to the Basement Dwellers Assassin's Creed: Shadows is an Assassin's Creed game.4 and a half stars (they don't have halves anymore -- that's weird). If you know what that means, you know what to expect - except that it’s set in Feudal Japan. The open world is vast and sometimes perplexing, but that is norm for any game set in the Assassin's Creed Universe. Regardless of everything else, it's pretty great. The graphics, the gameplay and the voices are all top tier. Connections to the previous mythology abound, but they don
Great game Amazing game... Must buy

Give them their (ray-traced) flowers Gamers tend to pile-on certain developers, and it’s well documented that Ubisoft is one of their favorite targets. It’s not completely without warrant - the studio has had its share of controversy over the years, and has had some rough patches - but it’s important to give them credit when it’s due. One shining light in Ubisoft’s portfolio has persisted (mostly), and that’s the Assassin’s Creed brand. This is no exception. In fact, it is their best work in a while!OPEN WORLD:I was a huge fan of S
Scenic and storied AC can be a bit repetitive, but as long as you go into it knowing that, this is a great game. Beautiful scenery and realistic graphics. They’ve really perfected the horse riding mechanic and I love Naoe’s stealth combined with Yasuke’s strength. I hate paying so much for any game, but a lot went into this one, so it isn’t so painful.
